We liaise with
- our advisory board, which consists of cancer patients and survivors.
- our partners who donate items, to ensure that their products are suitable for us.
We also ask those receiving our parcels for their feedback and suggestions.
The final composition of each box is the decision of the Cancer Care Parcel team, chaired by the founder Dr Shara Cohen, a cancer survivor.
We sell only two things, 1) appropriate cancer gifts and 2) peace of mind.
As well as selling gift packages, we are selling the peace of mind that you get knowing that you are buying an appropriate gift for your friend or loved one affected by cancer. We carefully construct each box with that person in mind, and so do not sell off the shelf items.
Our gifts are created specifically for people living in the UK.
All our advisory board and staff have UK experience of cancer, illness, hospitals and the NHS. Whilst we are happy to deliver our hampers outside of the UK, we only have the UK in mind when constructing the gifts.
A strict policy for parcel contents is always upheld.
We never have any of the following items in a box
- Religious content
- Shampoo or other hair products
- Food, in general (although we may include natural sweeteners, food which helps with nausea or items which help with dry mouth or bad mouth taste)
- Anything that makes claims to cure or prevent cancer
- Anything mentally or physically challenging
We only create gifts for people affected by cancer.
Our gifts are focused on people who are affected by cancer, because that is where our expertise is.
We do not sell gifts for other illnesses; although you are welcome to buy our gifts for any reason, we create our gifts with cancer patients and their family and friends in mind.
We support UK charities
Cancer Care Parcel partners with UK charities helping them fundraise, raising awareness and providing gift boxes and financial support.
What payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards.
You can pay either through our secure server or via Paypal.
Shipping And Returns
Can I send the parcel directly to my friend with a gift message?
Absolutely. Once you enter the shopping cart you will be asked to compose an optional gift note which we will add to the parcel.
Do you accept orders outside the UK?
Yes, if your country is not listed please contact us .
What are the Postage and Packaging Costs?
Packaging is included in the price.
Our hampers are very large and we keep the postage as reasonable as possible

When will the boxes be sent?
We always endeavour to post on the day we receive the order, if the order is placed before 1pm on a week day. Otherwise the gift is posted the next working day. Please allow 3- 4 working days for the parcel to arrive.
